Parents assaulted a college lecturer on Friday after girl students accused him of molestation in a private college in Belagavi district.
Rahul Otari, a guest lecturer, was confronted by a group of parents who caught him on the college premises and beat him up in front of students. The parents then escorted him to the police station and lodged a formal complaint.
During the investigation, police found obscene images on his phone, which was subsequently seized. A case has been registered against the accused.
