Timeline
Construction likely to start September–October 2025.
Why It Matters
- First multi-tier flyover in Belagavi
- Will decongest Ashok Circle, CBT, RTO, Channamma Circle, and BIMS
- Direct links to highways, bus stand, railway station, hospitals, and market areas
- Expected to transform city traffic flow for decades
Completion Outlook
- Phase 1 (4.5 km, 167+22 pillars): around 4–5 years, target by 2030
- With utility and railway delays, could extend to 6–7 years
- Straight stretches may open in phases earlier
The Belagavi flyover promises smoother connectivity and reduced congestion, though citizens may face temporary disruption during construction.
