In a major step toward enhancing the living standards of Muttyanatti residents, Belagavi North MLA Asif (Raju) Sait, joined by former MLA Feroz Sait, inaugurated a 24×7 water supply system for the village. This long-anticipated project aims to provide uninterrupted access to clean water, significantly improving daily life and addressing previous water shortages.
The event, attended by local leaders and dignitaries, also saw the participation of youth leader Amaan Sait, a vocal advocate for regional development. Representatives from L&T, the company behind the project, were present, highlighting the successful collaboration between government and private entities in delivering critical services to rural communities.
Speaking at the inauguration, MLA Asif Sait reaffirmed his dedication to advancing development across Belagavi North. “This water supply system marks a crucial step in ensuring basic amenities for every resident. Development should reach even the most remote areas, and we remain committed to this goal,” he stated.
The project is set to benefit thousands of households in Muttyanatti, resolving water scarcity issues and improving sanitation in the area.
Post-Inauguration Visit to Local Temple
After the inauguration, MLA Asif Sait visited the village temple and met with the temple committee to discuss ongoing development plans. He announced the allocation of additional funds for temple renovations, a decision warmly welcomed by the community. The planned renovations aim to preserve the temple’s cultural and spiritual significance while enhancing accessibility for worshippers and visitors.
MLA Sait emphasized the importance of maintaining cultural heritage alongside infrastructural development. “The temple is a cornerstone of our community, and its renovation is essential to preserving our shared heritage,” he noted.
These initiatives—bringing sustainable water access and supporting cultural preservation—reflect the comprehensive development vision of leaders like Asif Sait and Feroz Sait. The successful collaboration between local leaders, private partners, and the community continues to pave the way for meaningful progress in the region.
