Minister Lakshmi Hebbalkar accused state BJP leaders of spreading false information about the government’s five guarantee schemes ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, fearing potential defeat. She emphasized that voters would respond by favoring the Congress party.
A minister who canvassed for Congress candidate Mrinal Hebbalkar in Shindikurabeta, Dhupadala, and Pamaldinni villages of Gokak Assembly Constituency stated that the guarantee schemes aren’t temporary promises like those of Modi but assured by Siddaramaiah to be continued indefinitely.
The BJP’s current criticism stems from their frustration. Historically, power struggles have been fueled by conflicts between two tribes. Additionally, the central government’s allocation of rice to the impoverished is now being politicized. Despite facing obstacles from the central government, we have successfully implemented five guarantee schemes. During recent campaign events, I was accompanied by a significant number of women, indicating that these schemes have reached every household. We have pledged to deliver these five guarantee schemes should the Congress party come to power. Presently, these schemes are directly reaching the people without any intermediaries.
“Mrinal Hebbalkar’s candidacy was decided upon under the direction of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and District In-charge Minister Satish Jarakiholi. My son possesses admirable values and aims to unite the entire community. Kindly consider giving him the chance to serve you,” Mrs. Hebbalkar expressed.
Leaders Mahantesh Kadadi and Ashok Pujari urged Congress candidate Mrinal Hebbalkar for his support. Present at the event were Siddalinga Dalwai, Gangadhara Badakundri, Chandrasekhara Konura, Puttu Khanapura, Imran Thaparer, Lakkanna Savasuddhi, Vivek Japthi, Maruthi Vijayanagar, Malakari Bhangi, Kalpana Joshi, Mallaiah Hiremath, Malappa Dandina, Vithal Rakshi, Bhirappa Prime Minister, Ajappa Dandina, Mallappa Rajapura, along with numerous others.
