An incident involving the alleged sexual assault of a 15-year-old girl by three individuals, including two minors, has come to light on the outskirts of Belagavi.
The incident occurred about a week ago at a resort, where the primary accused, Saqib, had booked a room. The girl was brought there by one of the minors known to her. At the location, the three allegedly assaulted her.
The matter came to light when the girl, after returning home, complained of severe stomach pain. Her mother took her to the hospital, where the incident was disclosed. A case has been registered under the POCSO Act at Tilakwadi police station.
Police have arrested Saqib and one minor, while a search is on for the third accused.
